The summer heat is pressing down on us with full strenght. Summer is also the time when we can take the holiday and visit one of the Slovenian places, where we can hang out together with several group activities; or if we're part of a sporting team, we can find a place where we can train and get away from the heat. 



Along the Sava river, near the Croatian border and the international airport of Zagreb, the hostel Krško offers you equipped facilities behind thick walls that can seriously stand up to the heat of summer sun. Freshen up your team activities along or in the water in the shade of mighty trees in the very heart of Slovenia in hostel Menina. For all you adrenalin lovers, there’s also the hostel Bovec where you’ll find something to your liking, as Bovec is the adrenalin capital of Slovenia, but also offers refreshing dips in the river of Soča. The mountain lake Iverčko jezero is a place you can reach easily by staying at hostel Punkl in Ravne na Koroškem. The hostel is a modern wooden construction, erected with the highest environmental standards in mind. The famous Lake Bled, just a short walk from the hostel Bledec is a great reason to visit this pearl of Slovenian tourist offer. Bled is also a perfect gateway to the Slovenian part of the Alps and is perfect for all sort of mountaineering groups (from beginners to advance climbers). And last, but by no means least, there’s the largest Slovenian hostel at Debeli rtič with over 600 beds (ranging from the simplest of accommodation, or right up there to the equivalent of a three star hotel rooms). The hostel has its own beach and offers many other objects (including an indoor swimming pool) suiting the needs of even the most demanding groups.

1.Youth Hostel Krško
Hostel Krško is in the attic of the building Youth Centre Krško, which is located very near center of the city. Hostel Krško was originally intended for youth programmes, but is open for everyone. All age groups are welcome. The available accommodation capacity: 9-bedded room, 8-bedded room, 3-bedded room and apartment with 4 single rooms. There are 24 beds available and 6 extra beds. The accommodation in hostel Krško provides sanitary facilities, bathrooms with shower, kitchen with cooking facilities, living room with TV, computer with free internet access. All rooms are air-conditioned. The hostel is also adapted for people with special needs. The hostel is equipped with an elevator.



2. Youth Hostel Bledec
Hostel Bledec is a completely renovated building, which continues the 80 year old tradition of youth tourism on Bled. It is in a quiet part of the town, only a five minutes’ walk from the lake. Right next to it is also a walking path, leading up to the castle, which can be reached in about 10 minutes. There are 12 rooms with 55 beds altogether. Most rooms have three or four, but some also have five beds. They are all equipped with showers, toilets and a TV; the restaurant, pub, a joint room with an internet corner and parking space.



3. Youth Hostel Bovec
Hostel Bovec in the center of Bovec. Bovec is a small town in Slovenia, located between high mountains and famous Soča river. It is a great destination for people looking for adrenaline release, river and land sports, tasty traditional food, historical and natural monuments. Our staff will help you to remember your journey in Bovec. The hostel is located in a big renovated house just in front of Kaninska vas and can host a maximum number of 50 guests. You can choose to stay in different rooms, we have from double room to twelve beded dormitory with sharing bathrooms.



4. Youth Hostel Debeli Rtič
Boarding is possible in 43 nice rooms with bathrooms (shower, toilet, hairdryer). Most rooms have balconies with a view of the sea or the vineyards. There are also group rooms (96 rooms with 4, 12, 14, 15 beds) that share bathrooms, kitchenette and a common room with a TV and a lot of space for socializing. The Hostel Debeli rtič also has access for wheelchairs. You don’t need to worry about linen or tower, for rooms already include them. Guests can also use the laundry with a drier.



5. Youth Hostel Menina
At the heart of the 35 kilometre long Upper Savinja valley, which is surrounded by a wreath of 2.500 meter high mountains and distinguished by its unspoiled nature lies Hostel Menina. Is a very nice hostel situated by the alpine river Savinja. It is very suitable for the groups, families; people who want to spend peaceful holidays, nature lovers and all those who want to spend their time in various activities like: trekking, hiking, kayaking, cannoning, paragliding, mountain biking, enjoying good wine & food, swimming in lake or river.



6. Youth Hostel Punkl
Hostel Punkl was designed as a self-sufficient low energy architectural building in line with natural and bioclimatic natural surroundings. It’s entirely made of massive wood and all the materials are natural – if only possible. The hostel offers beds for up to 48 people and has common rooms that allow the organization of activities for guests and outside visitors alike. Beds are arranged in 8 rooms with their own bathrooms. All rooms are designed flexibly, so you can stay in a two-, four-, or eight-bedded room.
