Study Tour Hungary

Content

On this tour students from Slovenia, Romania, Czech Republic, Russia and Croatia were geting to know the youth hostles in Hungaria's capital and its surroundings.

We stayed at the Marco Polo hostel in Budapest for the first two nights and had a look at a new Budapest Hostel, where we had a workshop (or better said an information exchange for we presented the places we all came from).

The third hostel we saw was Fortuna on a boat that used to float down the Danube and has now been turned into a hostel. Thus you can spend your holidays on Danube in a boat in the very centre of Budapest.

Next we moved from Budapest further south (Dunaujvaros) and then to northeast (Gödöllő), where we got to see a different system of hostel arrangements - hostels that are part of a student campus.

And finally we went to a town of Tata, where we stayed at Öreg-To Club. It is by the lake and offers accommodation in bungalows or in a camp.

Student tours are very interesting as a part of getting to know and compare different organizations and arrangements of the facilities, not only in the hosting country, but also in other guest countries, through relaxed conversation, while making new friendships and finding new ways of international cooperation. This connects us in a more stable and efficient networks where everybody has a lot to gain.
