Cagliari and Pula in Sardinia

Unspoilt lands, white sand and turquoise sea. Visit the island while staying at Pula and Cagliari hostels and discover the pleasure of a relaxing holiday surrounded by the most beautiful nature. Cagliari is the capital of the island of Sardinia, an autonomous region of Italy. Cagliari’s Sardinian name Casteddu means castle. You can visit the hilltop citadel, which is Cagliari’s most iconic image, its domes, towers and palaces, which were once home to the city’s aristocracy. In Cagliari, you will find the so called Cittadella dei Musei (the city of museums) where the archaeological museum is simply a must see. Here you will find the artefacts spanning thousands of years of history, writes the website LonelyPlanet. Of course there’s something for you if you love the beautiful beaches. Poetto Beach is among the best city beaches on the Mediterranean and will satisfy even the pickiest sunbathers. Welcome.

Peschici, Bisceglie and Gallipoli in Puglia

From Peschici to Gallipoli, passing through Bisceglie, you will always find a clear blue sea. Hurry up and book your stay, walk in the most beautiful villages in Italy and have fun! Puglia is something special. It can surely be one of the most famous Italian regions. It offers everything a tourist could want. Great food, environment and amazing beaches. One of its cities, Lecce is also called the Florence of South. Lecce offers you baroque buildings from the 17th century. The cities you shouldn’t miss out on are also Bari, a walled city on a peninsula, Alberobello, a Unesco World Heritage site because of its uniqueness and Otranto with its stunning coastal location. If you want, you can rent a car and travel through the whole “heel” of Italy.

We recommend you to stay in Ostello Salento. The hostel offers its guests comfortable dormitories with bunk beds, each bed has a locker.

Palermo in Sicily

Are you a dynamic guy, lover of art, nature and good food? Discover Palermo, a city full of history, architectural pearls and the dish called arancini. Don’t know what arancini is yet? Come and try it. But just to get your mouths to water, arancini are risoto balls in a crispy breadcrum coating. Sounds amazing, right? But let’s stop talking about food (even if it’s so amazing in Palermo). Palermo is noted for its history, culture, architecture (and of course food). It is a city, which is 2700 years old and it was named European capital of culture for the year 2018. The city boasts a number of baroque palaces and if you want some modern art, you can visit the contemporary museum or the gallery of modern art. For a feeling how old the city really is, you can head about 4 kilometres west of the city and see the stunning Roman ruins with a fantastic view.

You can find an accommodation in two HI hostels. In Hostel Baia del Corallo or A Casa di Amici. Hostel Baia del Corallo lies in the beautiful bay Sferracavallo with a beautiful view on the sea. The centre is only a bus ride away.
