St. Gallen - The Heart of the East of Switzerland

The compact metropolis of eastern Switzerland between Lake Constance and Appenzellerland has a charming, traffic-free old town. Colourfully-painted oriel windows are a town feature. The Abbey precinct with the cathedral and Abbey Library has been accorded UNESCO World Heritage listing. The agricultural region around St. Gallen and the Rhine Valley are a lovely hiking and cycling area.
 
 
Did you know that St. Gallen Youth Hostel is just 11 kilometres or 15 minutes by train from Lake Constance? The historic old town and the trade-fair complex are also just a few minutes away on foot. Kreuzlingen - The largest Swiss city on the Lake Constance

The Kreuzlingen region extends between Seerücken and Lake Constance, with the city of Kreuzlingen at the centre. The unique border location makes it an ideal starting point for excursions into the whole area around the Lake. You can explore the Lengwiler Pond nature reserve, the Connyland amusement park, the Maritime Museum or the Planetarium in Kreuzlingen. The Thurgau region in the area of Lake Constance is a paradise for cycling, swimming, skating or walking. 
 
 
The youth hostel, with its high-ceilings and sunny rooms, was formerly a manor house and was renovated true to style in 2003. It lies in the middle of a park on the shores of the lake.

Schaan-Vaduz - Principality of Liechtenstein

The Principality of Liechtenstein may only cover 160 square kilometres but it houses a wide variety of leisure and sports facilities.
