We can now well and truly say "Croeso i Gymru" - Welcome to Wales! This month our incredible new YHA Cardiff Central hostel opened its doors and welcomed the very first guests to the Welsh capital.
We're so proud of this amazing hostel, from the quirky hand-painted murals of Cardiff landmarks, to the gorgeous state-of-the art premium rooms; complete with hairdryers, TVs and (gasp) towels! A former 4 star hotel,
YHA Cardiff Central perfectly combines all the handy facilities you'd expect for a modern city break with the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of YHA.
With a massive celebration and official opening in the pipeline for later this year, the soft opening saw YHA staff try it all out for themselves. After testing the delicious groups menu, it was hard to leave the comfy seats and awesome decor of the bar area - not to mention the tempting range of local Welsh ales on offer!
Demand for YHA Cardiff Central is already going through the roof, with over 10,000 bookings choosing us as a budget base to explore this diverse city.
